Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Embroidly collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
1. Who is responsible
Embroidly is operated by Wearcloverse LLP, Hanuman Temple Rd, Bharathi Nagar Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560049, India, which is responsible for your personal data. Contact: support@wearcloverse.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and display name. If you sign up with a password, we store only a secure hash of it, never the password itself.
- Google sign-in: if you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID with us. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts or files.
- Your content: the artwork you upload, the designs generated from it, your edits, and the machine files you export.
- Payments: Razorpay processes payments. We receive the order and payment IDs, the amount, the payment status and the payment method type (for example UPI or card). We never receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request times in our server logs, used for security and to fix problems.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use only cookies that are needed for the service to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in (up to 7 days).
- A security cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
- A short-lived cookie that secures the Google sign-in flow.
- Your browser’s local storage keeps preferences such as millimetres or inches and editor display settings.
4. How we use your data
- to provide the service: digitizing your artwork, saving your projects and delivering your files;
- to process payments and keep billing records;
- to keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to answer your support requests;
- to meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your artwork to train machine-learning models.
5. Who we share it with
- Razorpay, to process payments;
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google;
- hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers and store data on our behalf;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Account details: while your account is open.
- Artwork, designs and files: until you delete them or your account is deleted.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after your account is deleted.
- Server logs: for a limited period, then deleted.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and access to stored data is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to support@wearcloverse.com from your account’s email address. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your projects and files; payment records we must keep by law are retained.
9. Grievance officer
If you have a complaint about how your data is handled, write to our grievance officer at support@wearcloverse.com or Wearcloverse LLP, Hanuman Temple Rd, Bharathi Nagar Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560049, India. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
10. Children
The service is not intended for children under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
